Why this case matters
One recurring research programme can create participant value, industry intelligence, follow-up activity and partial cost recovery.
The challenge
The programme had to enable firms to compare financial and operational performance with relevant peers while also generating reliable information about developments across the profession. This requires clear definitions, validation, meaningful comparisons and consistent panels over time.
One dataset, different perspectives
For participating firms
Participants use an individual dashboard, generate reports, create comparisons using criteria such as size, region and type of firm, and follow their own historical development.
For NOAB and Fiscount
The organisations receive aggregated data and group results. C2C performs broader analysis and prepares the general research report and press release.
Who does what?
NOAB and Fiscount determine subjects and provide sector expertise. C2C advises where needed and supports collection, validation, panel selection, calculations, individual reporting and broader analysis.
From benchmark to conversation
The results are also used in Beat the Benchmark workshops. The benchmark provides context and identifies differences; it does not by itself explain causality or prescribe what a firm should change.
A model that supports cost recovery
Non-participating firms can purchase access to an individual benchmark, helping recover part of the programme cost while extending its value.
