Compare to Compete

Research first. Technology second.

Compare to Compete helps organisations turn recurring research, benchmarking and assessments into repeatable programmes that create value for both organisers and participants.

What we believe

We believe research should create value for everyone involved.

  • Organisations need reliable information to make decisions.
  • Participants need a reason to contribute.
  • The most successful programmes create value for both.

That belief continues to shape every benchmark, assessment and research programme we support.

From research to technology

We started with research, not software

Compare to Compete was not founded as a software company.

We started by helping organisations design and operate benchmarking programmes.

That work revealed a recurring challenge: collecting the data was often the easy part. Validating submissions, creating meaningful comparisons and producing participant feedback required significant manual effort.

The Survey Tool was developed to solve those recurring operational challenges.

Research first. Technology second.

We start with the research question.

  • What do you want to understand?
  • Who provides the information?
  • What should participants receive in return?
  • How often should the programme run?

Only then do we configure the technology.

The research model determines the platform. Not the other way around.

The Survey Tool grew from practical experience

The Survey Tool was developed to support recurring research programmes, benchmarking initiatives and assessments.

Instead of managing questionnaires, spreadsheets, calculations and reports separately, organisations can use one configurable platform to support the complete process.

Today the platform supports data collection, validation, benchmarking, reporting and participant feedback across a wide range of programmes.

Why software alone is not enough

Many survey platforms focus on data collection.

Recurring research programmes often require much more:

  • Validation
  • Benchmarking
  • Reference groups
  • Reporting
  • Participant feedback
  • Historical comparisons

That combination of technology and practical research experience is where Compare to Compete adds value.

Work areas

How we contribute

Technology

Configurable software for recurring research, benchmarking and assessments.

Research expertise

Practical experience in research design, benchmarking and participant feedback models.

Operational Support

Support with implementation, recurring programme management and reporting.

Continuity

Stable processes that become more valuable over time through historical comparisons and accumulated insight.

How we typically work

  1. Understand the research question.
  2. Design the research model.
  3. Configure the platform.
  4. Launch the programme.
  5. Refine and repeat.
